Electric wire insulation line

High technology and proven reliability are features of this complete insulation line for the production of single and multi cores insulated electric cables.

The production line starts in twisting coiler machine which holds and twists the coils of wires. The wire is passed through straightener machine to be fed into a cross head by constant pitch. The entire production line only requires an extruder for forming of outer layers of PVC. The following processing equipment includes water cooling bath, capstan haul-off machine and wire winder machine.

Twisting decoiler:

  • Electrically twisted decoiler

Twin Extruder:

  • Screws are designed to make them ideal for clear PVC and nylon extrusion.
  • Screws diameters are 90 and 65 mm
  • Screws rotate at 60 rpm rotation
  • Extruder maximum productivity is 150 kg/hr
  • Barrels are made of nitrided steel in lengths of 26D.
  • The barrel heating system consists of 5 high performance mica heating elements 20 kw.
  • The barrel may cooled using a strong cooling fans.
  • The extruder is driven by inverter-controlled AC motors 50 hp.
  • The gearing runs quietly and has integrated oil lubrication. Gears are precision ground for quiet running and long service life.

 

Cross head:

  • Single and dual layer cross head
  • Cross head accepts 1 to 16 mm wire diameter
  • It is heated in 3 heating zones by 5 kw heaters
  • Changeable died according to desired wire diameter

 

Cooling unit:

  • Single and Multi pass a Stainless Steel cooling trough
  • Cooling unit length is 2500 mm
  • Side nozzles for water spraying along wire length
  • Water is circulated using 2 hp water pump

 

 Capstan haul-off:

  • AC inverter motors and controls.
  • Two driving friction drums and two small feeding drums
  • Heavy-duty support base ensures a stable operation.

 

Wire winder

  • Winding machine for wire coiling.
  • The winder is driven by 5 hp 3-phase motor.
  • Traverse is carried out by a roller ring gear, by which the pitch per swift can be adjusted.
